I have a courgette plant which is looking very healthy, I am just having trouble with timing the picking of the courgettes.
A courgette gets to about 2.5 - 3 inches long, I start thinking “OK just another inch or two and I’ll pick this sucker”, at which point the flower falls off and almost immediately the courgette starts rotting from the tip where the flower once was.
I don’t really have much use for a 2.5 inch courgette, but then I don’t have much use for a rotten courgette either.
Is this normal or am I missing something?

I didn’t find the right solution from the internet.
